Toby & his meals!

Yummy~~!

This is delicious!

He can finish 2 cans in a day, but he don't really like his kibbles. So in order to make him eat so that he can get his nutrition..we served kibbles and wet food, possibly, every meal. Now, he even have his supper...that makes him 5 meals a day..

Morning (8.00am), Lunch (1.00pm), Late-lunch (4.00pm), Dinner (8.00pm) & Supper (12.30am)

Vet visit 08/08/09

Yes...4.8 kg!

Send Toby to vet this morning, for another check up on his cough. Dr. Lai, the vet, say the cough still under control, just that need to boost up his immune system. If nothing went wrong and Toby 's condition still can maintain just the way it is, 2nd vaccination on this coming Thursday should be no problem. Still, there is risk, where he might catch up fever thou after the 2nd vaccination, but won't lead to any danger that leads to death. I feel relief in a moment, hopes everything will be okay.

Lunch Together!

It was 12.15pm, my lunch time. Baby suggest that she "ta pau" lunch and eat in the car! Why? Coz baby bringing Toby jai along for lunch. As Toby can't go to public place much, so we got to have lunch in the car, together with Toby. After all, baby oso worry Toby very boring at home.

So we parked our car aside, and enjoy our lunch. A peaceful lunch, as Toby were busy sleeping as always. So we put him at the seat behind, let him sleep all he wants. Once awhile he will open his eyes coz he smell some food around. LOL...We told him he can't have the food that we have, so he sleep back. We even hear him snores!

Hug him awhile, then baby send me back to work, and they head home...and when almost reached home, Toby pee on baby's car!LOL...Notty one!

Check Up

Went to the vet, and the 1st thing that need to do is weight him! Haha...Last Friday weight was 3.8kg, and today, Tuesday, 4 days after the last weight, he now weight 4.2kg!!! High 5 baby! We are not trying to make him fat, but Toby was having problem with his weight previously, where the vet told us he suppose to weight around 5kg at his age now.

We feed him alot, as for him to gain back all his nutrition that he needed during his growth. Baby called, as because am still working, to tell me this fatty increase his weight!

But still, vet told us that he can't confirm that Toby can proceed with his 2nd vaccination, as he is just in the midst of recovering. Vet warn us not to bring him out anymore, as it's very dangerous for his health. Hmm..seems like we really have to quarantine him again till he fully recover! Vet told us we got a very special puppy, not because he is extra good looking or intelligent, because his sickness is undefined. No vet can tell us whats the main problem with Toby. We went to 3 different vets, and all the vets told us the same thing. Toby doesnt act like other puppy, where others were hyper active, as for Toby, he can sleep whole day without playing! And about the 2nd vaccination, instead of those 8 in 1, 9 in 1, or 10 in 1, vet suggest us another kind of vaccination, mainly to prevent the "Distemper Virus". Vet say Toby's case was a special one, so he suggest something different, hoping can help him.

Anyway, we still need to return to the vet next week, again...for another check up. Though we are so tight right now with the budget, but we got no choice. We just want Toby to be healthy, thats the main objective. Just pray hard, the over budget won't be too much.

His Weekends!

Babysit him for 3 days, as baby is very busy with her exhibition. As always, he is very notty, keep biting people's hand and leg..makes me feel like plucking out his teeth..LOL

This few days, Toby slepts alot. A LOT, I mean. We keep most of his toys, left the bone for him to chew if his teeth itchy. So eventually Toby feels boring and sleep most of the time. Plus, the medication he is on now, I guess it's kinda strong where makes him feel blur and sleepy most the time. We want him to have a full rest, so we didn't play much with him. But we will take him for a walk around the house area, so that he won't be so so 100% boring. But that also we hug him, as doctor said, have to limit his activities, including walking around. So we hug him, take him for a walk, while to take some fresh air.

This weekend, Toby needs to visit the vet again, as the vet advise us to go back for another check up before the medication runs out. We are looking forward for it, as we hope there are some improvements in Toby. His coughs seems have slow down alot, sames goes to flu. And everythin is okay, we hope Toby can proceed with his 2nd vaccination. Pray hard, he will be okay.

His appetite had improved, as we served mostly wet food for him. We do mix up with some kibbles for him, as in, we served the kibbles at the first round, not so big portion, as we worry he can't finish it, and we have to throw it away.When he finished his kibbles, we served wet food, and no matter how much we gave him, he sure lick till the bowl shine!
