This entry was actually about the past 2010, Tiger's Chinese New Year...yea, an outdated post which I should have post it long long time ago..LOLX... The 1st and 2nd day of CNY nothing much happen, just that Toby were in not so good mood due to the fire crackers. Well, Toby don't really like it, that when everytime he hear the fire crackers, he will be afraid, hence, lack of sleep and rest...

As for the 3rd day of CNY, baby travel back to KL for a day trip to pay a visit to her relative's at KL. So we meet up, and I drove baby back to home to have a look at Toby, it's been few day that Toby didnt get to see her...Toby were excited when saw her coming back! After a quick lunch with baby, I got to rush home due to we will have a special event, the Lion's dance!

Plans..

At last, we brought Toby to grooming...and basic grooming + shave some chest hair...he totally look gorgeous now..hahaha..well, we went back to Doggie Doggie in Sri Petaling..except than looking good, Toby smells good too!...wonder what shampoo and conditional they used...but I heard they used some perfume too so that the furkids smell nice when the owner come and pick them up. As usual, we will spend time sitting there, making sure Toby were not been ill-treated...After the grooming, Toby looks younger..we did not manage the take any piccies of him at the moment due to the camera was mistakenly taken by someone else...and they haven't returned back yet :(

Got to babysit by myself for the next whole coming week. Baby back to hometown during the CNY. As usual, Toby gonna spend his day at the porch, while am work, and when time to sleep, he will be sleeping back in the room together with me...talking about that, Toby been naughty, superb naughty!...he bite off my PSP charger head, and now it costing me 200 bucks to get a new charger!

We been advised by vet to try another type of kibbles when he has recovered from the skin problem. Vet say there is nothing can be done, as we still not able to find out the source of the allergic. The last 2 attempt has failed, but vet say this is normal, where some owners have to keep on changing kibbles to find a suitable one. The next brand I planned / aimed for is Accana fish flavours. I heard my friend mention that her golden loves it, and I began to think maybe golden likes fish...reason?The previous I have mention that we bought the cheaper kibbles for Toby, which is Pro Plan, made from fish, specially for skin sensitive dogs. Toby loves it! Without any fail, Toby will cleared up his bowl for every meal. But too bad, his sensitive skin cant take it, so we have to changed back to Royal Canin. So now, we need to try others brand, as long as it is fish, then will be ok. And guess what, my friend feed her golden with some fish oil, for dogs of couse, for their coats purpose. Like I've said, golden really love FISH!

I was thinking, how about rice with fish?

Another 2 more days, Toby wll get a chance to wear his CNY cloth!..we bought some new cloths for him at the kid's department and need to alter it before letting him to wear..and I wonder, why most of his cloths are red in color?Baby say red matched Toby's....I guess Toby look smart in black too!. Too bad not to be able to take some pic, as the camera....still missing...and our PDA's sucks at photo..2.0 mega pixel...what can you expect from that...

Hope be able to take some pic when Toby attending classes...yea..Toby is going to skool from next month onwards...it's obedience class actually, a beginner one...if he is okay, we will go ahead with the advance classes..there were alot of plans we have for Toby on this year, like, going on a holiday trip with him, his very 1 year old birthday bash, getting him a superb spa massage, his annually body check up and not forget at all, his spaying operation. It's a long list, but these are the few major things we attempt to do in this 2010. And if everything goes, well, specially our financial status, then we will be able to do more things with Toby.

Chinese New Year!

Gotten a new toy and pillow for Toby as Chinese New Year pressie!

Well, actually just wanted to bought some toys to make him happy. Been busy lately, and mostly we went home late at night, as couldn't accompany Toby for long time due to we are tired and needed to rest early for tomorrow's work.

His skin issue was almost fully recovered, but once we change his kibbles, it come back again. And this is bad, we gotta buy back the superb expensive kibbles where he seem okay when consuming it. The reason we changed the kibbles because we cant afford the expensive one in long term.It costs us 200 bucks for 7 kg, and we will need to buy 2 packs to last for a month. We thought his skin issue were settle, and it is saved to feed him with another cheaper type. Too bad, now we have even spend more by buying that cheaper kibbles, and not able to use it. So, we decided to take those unfinished kibbles for the stray dogs..and we even have to give away Toby's treat, all his chicken and lamb bones, to the stray dogs. Toby is restricted from any form of treats...Poor thing!

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, we and Toby wish all furkids and friends have a great and prosperous 2010 year!

Merry Christmas '09

Hey peep! It's been a while since the last update about Toby. Toby still doing great, his naughty bar skill is growing perfectly, and few times ended up with "steam rotan with meats" (tan tiew mun chu yuk - cantonese)!

On the day before Christmas eve, we have a Christmas gift exchanged, session, where both of us bought a little christmas gift for Toby with the terms that the gift shouldn't be price more than RM 10.00 each. Nowadays, it's really hard to get a gift that is below 10 bucks, as we are having difficulties on finding at it at the first attempt. But the processing part was fun, a new experience gained.

6th Month Dog Day

It was his 6th month Dog day, and it totally slipped off from our mind. Luckily it went thru baby's mind in a glance, and realizing it was Toby's Dog day. Baby sms-ed me, and we both were kelam kabut for a while. Well, things happens, that's why our attention is directed off. But seriously, both of us was not really in a good or happy mood and few days before, baby's car windscreen were smashed, but luckily. we did not lost anything. So on Toby's dog day, we didn't have much things plan, and we just treat him vanilla ice-cream mixed with his fish-fish biscuit, and well, Toby's love it!

Lately there were not much post or updates from Toby, due to our work's schedule and routine changes. Anyhow...we were glad that Toby's ear infection were totally recover at last, and a new chapter begins...Skin problem...and this chapter, I believe, will be a long lasting one. Might due to the raining season nowadays, there were yis and bacteria underneath his skin. And again, we have to bring Toby to consult the vet. Bought some anti septic spray, and that didn't really work well..and the bacteria has spread to his upper body, which previously it was on his leggy. Vet told us to call for consult before bringing Toby over, as the vet knows we have spend too much, where there were times the vet have to pity us, giving us free medicine and consultation. So for this skin chapter, the vet told us that it is a normal condition, where big dogs will infected with the yis issue, speacially during the raining season. The only we can do is, bath Toby twice a week, and used the anti-yis shampoo once a month. FYI, the anti-yis shampoo, was terribly expensive, costing 50 bucks, for a small bottle. I guess with Toby size, it can only last for 3 bath...max 4 times.

We had extremely tight budget for this coming few months as CNY was going to arrived soon and as usual, there were alot of preparation that involves money. We even need to reduce the pocket money that we allocate for him, so that we are able to meet the budget and savings. Just pray hard, the skin problem chapter won't go in any deeper or serious. As for others, Toby were doing great, extremly naughty, and fat. He doesn't fond about his kibbles as before, and this has getting us to worry. This might due to we have randomly giving him rice with meat, which he prefers more. But still, we have to force him to eat his kibbles, as it is more healthy to him.

Was planning for a road trip with Toby, but still haven't decide where to head on. As we planned, the trip will mostly be on next year March, whereby after the CNY. There were few places we are still search on that Toby will be able to accomodate, and what we have is Ruby Resort, which I guess everyone know about it, and another one is in Penang. If any friends do have a place to share with that can bring our furkids along, hope can share it with us. Thanks in advance!
