Present

This coming 30th is Toby's 4th month burfday...

We went to Doggie Doggie earlier on, and again, we sent Toby for bath. We start to visit some groom shops again, this round at Kuchai Lama place. Heard that there are few shops there and so we start checking on it 1 by 1...the 1 st...we forget the name...was quite ok...the 2nd one...was the Pet's Groomer...this one is good...the environment is very neat and tidy..and we can watch them grooming our furkids. The 3rd...is the Kuan's Pet Saloon, and this one was out of our list.

Then we planned to head over to KL, a pet shop name Wow Wow & Meow Meow (if am not mistaken)...but when on the way we passed by Doggie Doggie, and they were having this crazy sales (konon la)...so we bump in..and see what cheap stuff we can get for Toby. After walk round and round the shop, we plan to get a necklace for Toby as his burfday pressie la....This is what we choose...

Taaa daaa....nice mou?

We get this necklace for around 20 bucks, where is after discount. Slightly bigger for Toby now, but we think it's ok. In other hand, we bought another shampoo..hopes will makes him smell nicer next time when we bath him by ourself. We are now planning to buy the "Yu"'s shampoo where they recommended for us, that the aroma can last longer than any other doggy shampoo. The pricey was about 300 bucks for 4L..but of coz it's just under consideration. Would like to see some feedback from other users about this shampoo too if possible.

As for his 4th month birthday, we planned to buy him KFC meal again. He loves chicken...and by the way, his puppy teeth starts to drop out now...poor Toby...No wonder nowadays he looks like having a hard time chewing his kibbles. To help him out, we gave him chicken breast and wet food for now, so that he will feel much more better.

Walk at the park

Where are we??

Let's just wait...hmm?

We bring Toby to drive around during the long weekends. He seems boring being at home all the time. The toys doesn't amuse him as much as before, and by keeping changing and buying new toys for him really cause us a bomb for our wallet.

He like walking in the park...and nowadays when the weather is good, we would let him walk at the park nearby our house. He is been good, where we doesn't need to leash him when he is out in the neighborhood. He runs like crazy till drop dead tired...

The weird part is, where Toby seems like he is not interested in any other dogs. Whenever there is other dogs barking at him, he just ignore and continue his walking, doesn't even wanna stare or have a look at them. He is more interested in human beings around. Mooncake Festival is just around the corner...and our neighbourhood have organise a small celebration among the neighbours. Gonna be some games and small party at the park, and definetly we are bringing Toby with us...Gonna post up the lantern that we bought for Toby earlier on...so...stay tune!

Non-Professional Groomer!

We planned to send Toby for grooming as usual at Doggie Doggie, but it were closed for the public holiday. So we drove all the way to Kepong, rounded a few lot shops and finally we decide to try on a pet sop name Dept Pet shop, hope I didn't mistaken the shop's name.

The reason why we choosed the shop coz we are able to see the groomer thru the glass while they were gromming Toby. We heard alot of stories about how rude some of the groomers when they groom the furkids. So we let them took Toby in for a bath, and we were waiting anxiously for Toby to come out to watch them groom him. After an hour plus, we still have seen Toby, so we ask and they told us they were doing him inside. My God, they were grooming him inside, not at the see thru glass room. We heard alot of dog's barking and we are not sure wether it's Toby or other's dog. Almost 2 hours, Toby came out.

We did a random checking to make sure Toby were fine. I read some post at the pet's forum, saying that there were times groomers might accidently cut the ears till bleeding. But to our disappointment, they didn't trim the ear's fur at all...even the paw. When I confront the worker about it, they give us the reason is...they forgot to trim the paw's fur. How on earth can they forget? It was just a basic grooming we are talking here...I thought they were the pros and I pay for their services. So they took Toby in, but this time, they did it in the see-thru glass room. They were gently handling him because both of us were locking our eyes ball at them. Secondly, Toby's body were still a little wet when he came out. Well, we didn't wanna complain much as we are really not satisfy at all with the services provided. So not professional!

As we have visited alot of pets shop previously because we wanna see how's the groomer attitude and the shop environment. And of coz we will only send Toby to where we can monitor him while he is being groom. Last 2 weeks, we went to a pet shop in Damansara Uptown, to have a check on the place and their services, once we step out from the shop, the first statement from baby is..."There is NO WAY that we will send Toby for grooming here!"...why? Because she saw the groomer treating the furkid very rudely....for example, the groomer were pulling the furkids tail so hard because the furkid refuse to let him groom at the butt's side. And of coz, the owner was not around there..as we are the only customer in there at that moment. Get the picture? We just don't wish our furkid to be torture by these so-called professional groomers when we send him over. We still prefer Doggie Doggie because we can watch Toby and I guess the groomer's there were gentle (might be due to we are watching closely while they were handing Toby).

Conclusion, the pet shop in Kepong (Dept Pet) was really not professional at all. No more 2nd visit!

Rainy Days...

Toby was enjoying his side dish on his bed....Wondering what is he having???

Greenies!

Was raining alot lately, and Toby has to skipped alot his evening walk. Toby was looking forward to his routine evening walk, but seems like everytime he feel disappointed. We let him run up and down the stairs as his daily exercise. He loves stairs....and he is very good at it. Good exercise for his hips!

As for the long holiday, we don't have any plans for Toby. His condition is stable after the 3rd jab, so I guess being outside the house were safe for him now. He gains lots of weight, weighing 11.1kg now. Last week he was 9.4kg, and within a week, he gains 2kg! We cant hug him at all by now.

Gonna bath him onTuesday, as we just applied the anti-fleas liquid on him earlier on today. It was damn wet and oily. Gonna wait 2 days for the body to absorb the fluid and we can bath him. As for now, he is definetly a smelly doggie!

Puppy Face

Sometimes, we really miss Toby's puppy moments.....

His puppy look...first day being home with us..He was aged 7 weeks, and we can easily grab him with one single hand and hug him closely.

Now, 3 months old....

Definetly grown big, much heavier. We are having hard time to hug or carrying him, even with both hands. And for sure, puppy face gone liaw. Now and then, we always call him "vege dog" (choi kau)...coz he really looks like one. Sometime we saw some doggie along the street, stray dogs I mean, and their face really looks alike. His paws and head were getting bigger...so as his mouth...whenever he yawn...his mouth were alike baby shark. But still, we love him very much..specially watching him growing up, losing his puppy cute face.

Balik Kampung Trip!

It was a last minute plans and decision, where me and Toby decide to follow baby back to baby's hometown, T.Intan....

That's the reason why we have celebrate earlier for Toby's birthday, because we feels that the birthday cake can't last long under the heat during the journey back to T.Intan. Secondly, Toby cant finish the whole cake, and we had plan earlier to share the cake with the other dog around the neighborhood. So right after the makan-makan birthday session, we pack all the stuffs, chuck into the car....and starts our journey back to T.Intan !

I am so ready! Let's go!!!!

During the journey...

Treats Time!

Let's continue ZZZzzzzzz~~~!

It was a 2 hours journey, and we did stop and take a stop at one of the pit-stop, cause we were thinking to let Toby pee before continuing our journey. Who knows, after 20 minutes under the sun, Toby still refuse to do his pee business. We gave up, hook up back in the car, and continue heading back to T.Intan. Toby spent most of his time sleeping in the car, snoring all the way. It was about evening when we reached T.Intan. We worry Toby doesn't get used to baby's place, so we let him wonders around..sniff here and there, hoping we won't feel depress again. We shift all his things back to T.Intan, hope to make him feels like home, specially his toys. Baby even bought him a new toy, for his birthday, and to make him happy while he is at T.Intan.

At T.Intan house...

Well, nothing much on the 1st day, as all of us feels tired. After dinner, we just rest at home with Toby, play with him awhile, and head to bed. We monitor him for few hours after he falls asleep, worrying that he feels cold. We gave him his blanket, and an extra towel. We are glad that he sleep soundly, getting himself to the new environment and sleeping place.

2nd day...

It was almost 11.00 a.m morning, and we head to a stall nearby for breaky. And of course, we tag Toby jai along, as we don't wish to leave him alone in the room. The place were kinda pack, and as always, we choose the table where located outside, corner place. This is to prevent some certain people to feel uncomfortable with Toby existance. Luckily, baby knows the owner of the place, and we were welcome by the people there. We give Toby some treats, as just to keep him busy while we were eating.

The rest of the day, we have to keep Toby in the room, as we need to go to the hypermarket to get some stuff. Went to Oldtown for a tea, before heading back to the house. As always, need to clean up Toby's pee..hmm..wonder...when can we only toilet train him and save all the hassle of cleaning his pee and poo all the time. Later at night, we went out with Toby, meet some baby's friends...at a local pub..yea..Toby went to pub, and again, luckily, baby knew the owner, and we get to sit outside with the friends. At first we were worry, not worry about people around there, but we were worrying about the environment because we don't think it's a good idea to bring him to places like this, with all the stray cats and dogs wondering around the street, the cigaratte's smoke...the loud music..at last, we agree, that we just gonna stay at that place for 30 minutes.

Toby's Yee Yee....

Toby's sleepy doggy face...

3rd day...was nothing special. Spent most of the time at home, resting and went out for dinner. Toby were busy with his toys, destroyed 2 of his toys...and we have to sew it back for him! Other than that...whatelse if not zzZZZzzzz? Baby's parent loves him alot....likes to see him wonders here and there, specially at the living room...

4th day....
As usual, went for breaky, and at the noon time, we decide to bring Toby to walk around, somewhere nearby to beach place, so we head down to Lumut, Pulau Pangkor's jetty. It was a 45 minutes journey from T.Intan, and Toby really have fun at there!

Spent 2 hours around the jetty, and we head home as we need to get ready for dinner time. Toby were tired too, so we drove all the way to T.Intan, feeling exhausted.

Toby feels so exhausted...

Sleeping soundly @ behind seats

Toby's blur face..

Last day at T.Intan...We went to dim sum as breaky, where Toby were allowed to be tag along. After packing all the stuff, we are ready to head back to KL. Toby were sleeping most of the time, changing from spot to spot. It was a great trip, as Toby are able to walk around rather than being quarantine in the room. Waiting for his 3rd jab, which is 2 weeks away still. Looking forward for the next trip, as it will be much more safer after his final jab.

Till then....*wooff*..nite!
