Moody

This few days, Toby did not play at all. All he ever do it just sleep. I never seen him so moody before. When I try to bring him for a walk, he refused to walk. All he wanna do is just sitting on the same spot. He refused to walk to the playground or any place else. I worried, he will be like the dog in Hachiko movie.

He still eats, at least. I know it is hard for him to adapt to the changes. I try to talk to him, but it seems he refuse to listen. At some point, I can feels that he did put the blame on me. I wish time will heal him, and he will be happy, more happy than before. Another 2 weeks to go before his spay operation. Prays hard, he will be safe. I believe Gods will protect him just like when he is in puppy time.

My parents say he will be okay as he still have me. If you really gets to know about dogs, they are just not dogs. They have feelings and they do remember. At least Toby has proved to me. Whatever he did in this few days, reminded me alot of things. He might be just sleeping in front of your eyes. But, have you ever wonder, whats in his mind when he close his eyes? Maybe all of the memories is playing back in his mind at the moment that makes his so moody and upset?

I just hope dun let all this hit so hard on Toby. Put it all in my account. I just want Toby to be happy, and cheerful along the way.

Pet's Dine Out Day!

As per title, it was actually a day where a Japanese restaurant open it's pool to furkids for swimming! While you were swimming with your lovely furkid, you can even dine out in the restaurant with them! It was 3rd time this event as organized, but this is Toby first time to attend it. We were superb excited, so do Toby!

The event started around 12pm, and we the sun were shinning hot on top of our head. Once we have settle down our stuff, we bring Toby to the pool section. He was afraid at first, did not dare to go down to the pool. We were trying to convince him by splashing some water on him, and slowly drag him down.

Guess what? He loves it once he jump into the pool! At first we afraid he might do not know how to swim, and even planned to buy a life jacket for him which is kind of costly.But now, we can save on that part! He swim like a champ!!!! Lolx...

Not only pictures. we even have video his very 1st swimming moments!

Yogy should be able to join Toby in swimming as he have completed the vaccination last week! And now we wonders, does Yogy knows how to swim too???

Mooncake Celebration :)

It was his 2nd Mooncake Festive celebration, but this year, it was different because he has a little brother to accompany him :)

We went out early in the morning to get some stuff for the night. Toby and Yogy cant wait as they are very excited when seeing us coming home to get ready them for the mooncake dinner and playing session! Both of them play non stop, and enjoy themselves with the mooncake that we bought for them!

Both were so tired after a whole evening running ups and down!

Both of them were snoring through the night after playing with each other. I guess they were pretty exhausted, and it was a great night!!!

It's been....

soooooooooo loooonggggggggggg since Toby's blog was updated.

Alot of things happened, and the best was Dogathon 2010!. It was his first time :P

Recently we welcome home a new furkid member to our family, Yogy Wong, which is Toby's little brother. He was 2 month++ poodle when we brought him home. Of course, Toby needs time to adapt together with his little brother. But so far, they are doing great as Yogy was a playful one.

Toby was sick 2 weeks ago. Fever, which makes him lost his appetite. His weight was down 3kg++ in 2 weeks time. Get us little worry, bring to few vets and have a blood test on him. Everything was fine and good, which the report shows. We were relief at least. But till now, even the fever is gone, Toby still no appetite, not even towards his treats. It gets us worried. Lai advised to cook something different like mash potato with rice and keep the kibbles away for a moment. And thank GOD, it works! Toby slowly eating back his meals and treats...and he seems not to be so moody compare to last 2 weeks.

Evening walk

As usual, if it doesn't rain on the evening, we'll take Toby for evening walk. Nowadays he seems to be more steady...he will not pee and poo that much during indoor. Once you let him outdoor, he will auomatically do his poo and pee business himself..it's he like he know that he should not poo and pee in the room, unless he really cant take it.

So, this is just about his normal evening walks....

And at times, he met his best buddy, Happy Chai, which happen is a male GR too! Happy lived at the end of the same row of houses and he is older than Toby by 6 or 8 months. Toby always shares his treats and food with Happy.

And when 2 playful GR meets up....

At the end, Toby was breathing heavily, and we have to serve him ice water for him to cool down...after 2 hours, you can start to hear his snoring..ZZzzZZZ~~!
